The AI x Design Field Guide

There's a large information gap between designers who know how to use AI and those who don't. It can also be quite difficult to find signals from all of the noise, hype, and buzzwords. This workshop will be an attempt to solve that. These are some of the themes I'm thinking of tackling in my workshop: - what's a large language model? (and why should designers care) - capabilities and limitations of current AI tech - new tools that designers can integrate to their workflow (with actual use cases + insights from my personal experiences) - supercharging design engineering with MCP + AI agents + design - how to use coding agents like Claude Code/Gemini CLI/OpenCode to create real prototypes - advanced "prompting" / "context engineering" - what will design look like 5 years from now? Note that this is a working topic and might completely change -- the core of my workshop/talk will generally focus on emerging technology + how it affects the practice of design. If there's any specific topics (related to the above) that the local community would like to hear, please let me know. I'll probably be able to work it in to my talk.
