Jay Nathan T. Jore, MAATC is an Assistant Professor at the Fine Arts Program of UP Cebu and Curator of the UP Cebu Museum of Art and Culture. He previously served as Managing Director and Curator of the Jose T. Joya Gallery and as Director of the Office for Initiatives in Culture and the Arts at UP Cebu. An art historian and curator, he has published extensively on Philippine art and heritage, including works on kisame painting and Cebuano artists. His research and curatorial work focus on Philippine and Southeast Asian art history, craft and material cultures, contemporary art, queer aesthetics, and museology.
