Innovate: An Introduction to Design Futuring

This workshop introduces design futuring: an approach that prioritizes the exploration of future possibilities and their long-term societal implications through discourse instead of immediate problem-solving. Participants will go through a futuring sprint where they will: • Collect and analyze signals of change • Design future product/inventions based on this research • Reflect and discuss the ethical implications of their designs During this process, they'll also learn about various foresight + futures frameworks that they can apply to their own projects.
